My husband and I were celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. The staff member who was looking after us was lovely. She was very pleasant and made sure that we were satisfied with every stage of our meal. The price was very reasonable too. It&#39;s cheaper to visit during the week and not so busy. My only concern was the distance to the disabled toilet. But on the whole, a very enjoyable experience

Love this pub. Warmly welcomed and great service by all. Lunch deal was a very good offer and the choice of cask and keg ales including seasonal were a delight. Our food arrived hot and tasty. A place we&#39;d come back to again and again as they have other offers too.

The food was delicious, service great, a lovely evening. It was such a shame that our booking, which I had had both text and email reminders about, was not on the restaurant system for some reason. A good job they weren&#39;t busy and could accommodate us- what would have happened otherwise?? Rather took the edge off the evening- sadly.
